OPPORTUNITY

TITLE:

Staff Accountant
Location: San Diego/North County San Diego/Southwest Riverside County/South Orange County area.
Position Description:

 

  • Process and ensure timely Accounts Payables
  • Bill invoices and manage Accounts Receivable and collections
  • Contact and assist clients and vendors as needed
  • Process refunds for customers via merchant account or Paypal
  • Reconcile bank accounts daily and monthly, and other accounts as needed
  • Assist in payroll processing and reporting
  • Review and verify monthly commission reports
  • Utilize spreadsheets and database tools to assist in financial record keeping
  • Work under the supervision of the Senior Accountant and Controller
  • Assist in completing audits
  • Assist in managing insurance policies
  • Ability to multitask across different types of accounting-related projects
  • Ordering, tracking and recording purchase for the office, warehouse and service
  • Process incoming mail and scanning/upload documents to shared drives as necessary

  • General Math skills
  • Accounting skills and experience with general ledger functions
  • QuickBooks skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite productivity tools
  • MS Teams experience a plus
  • Work experience in Life Sciences industry a plus
  • Reporting skills
  • Focus and detail oriented
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency to meet deadlines
  • A strong team-player with an ability to multi-task and wear several hats is a MUST

Desired Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance/relevant degree, preferred
  • Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
  • 2 yrs. minimum of Accounting/Bookkeeping experience required

Required Skills: • Some accreditation in project management
• Ability to coordinate global projects (10-30 at a time)
• High customer service ability
• Travel ready
• Good communications (email and in person)
• Some level of sales ability (will be doing on the fly pitches for whole company and program.)
• Ability to be opportunistic with clients, keep conversations going while on site, search for more oportunity for our program to expand
• Logistics coordination (shipping, packaging, crating)
• Ability to handle high level conversations with clients (industry knowledge a plus, knowing how to identify equipment and properly handle is also a plus)
• Must be focused and driven to stay on time, efficiently and profitably perform projects all the way through to completion
• Manage/hire project managers and project support staff
Desired Skills: Professional accreditation in Project Management

Financial Analyst

Required Skills:
  • Ability to work with large data sets, using excel index, match, SUMIFS, SUMPRODUCT, Pivot tables, and more.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting practices, procedures, and requirements (GAAP)Gather data to understand trends affecting the company’s business and strategy
    • Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support
    • Ability to incorporate multiple information sources into forecasts & recommendations
    • Prepare reports and projections based on financial data research
    • Evaluate current and previous financial data
    • Strong analytical skills to reconcile and process large amounts of information
    • Excellent verbal and written skills
    • Necessary computer skills to provide support to the Accounting team (Excel guru is a must)
    • Effective use of other necessary software to analyze financial information
    • Help automate processes the Accounting Team currently performs
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Position reports to COO
Desired Skills: Office 365 Power BI is a plus.
Compensation:
